What you can expect...
First off, you can expect to have the time of your life. We can't think of too many things that are more fun than reeling in one large walleye after another, and that is what you can expect during your time on the water with us. We head out on Lake Erie in our twenty-seven foot Sportcraft fishing boat with the best of both worlds, the latest fish-finding and navigational electronics, as well as years of experience turned into knowledge. We know where to find, and how to entice the best bites on Lake Erie.
We may not be one of the biggest, but one of the best, with 14 years of experience fishing Lake Erie. We also work closely with some of the best captains in our area to help in your success.
Items Furnished...
- Rods, reels & lures are furnished
- Landing nets appropriate for large walleye
- Onboard cooler for fish
- Ice
- Bait furnished on Walleye and Perch trips
How much does all this fun cost...
Less than you may think! We are able to accommodate up to six people on a seven hour trip for a group price of four hundred and eighty dollars (groups of three or less for four hundred and forty dollars). We require a one hundred dollar deposit within ten days of booking your trip. Don't worry, your deposit is fully refundable on the day of your charter if inclement weather keeps us from going out.
While we offer two scheduled trips a day, a morning trip from 6:00 am (edt) to 1:00 pm (edt), and an afternoon trip from 2:00 pm (edt) to 9:00 pm (edt), we are more than happy to schedule a trip around your time schedule. We just need to know what time slot works best for you when you make your reservation.
Items you'll need to bring...
- Ohio fishing license (can be purchased onsite)
- Soft-soled shoes (required)
- Appropriate clothing for the weather
- Sun protection items
- Food & beverages
- A cooler to transport your day's catch home
- Your own rod & reel with 8-10 lb. test line (if you wish)
Things you should know...
We believe in hook'n 'em young, children are always welcome. Parents should consider the time of year and conditions when bringing kids. Of course nobody knows your children, their interests and attention span better than you, and our service is open to all ages. So, if you think your child will enjoy fishing Lake Erie, please bring 'em aboard!
Overnight accommodations can be arranged with appropriate notification at $150 a night for 6 people.
So all of this is available for a group of 6:
7 hours of fishing ($80 per person) OR
7 hours of fishing and a 1 night stay ($105 per person)
